About the Club
Welcome to the Gloucester Badminton Club, a friendly and thriving club which plays all year round, with over 30 members. Here are some key points about the club:
- We play on Monday evenings between 7 and 10pm on 3 courts at Beaufort Sports Centre
- We play with feather shuttlecocks
- We use a 'Peg Board' system to ensure that there is a good variety of games played
- We have 6 teams entered in the Gloucestershire and Wyedean leagues including one Ladies doubles team
- In the summer we hold a club tornament which is always good fun
- We help run and coach the active Tuffley Junior club which plays at Beaufort on a Friday evening
- We also run a number of social events throughout the year which have included: 10 pin bowling, skittles,cycling, Christmas party and a summer barbeque
- Our Winter club fees for September to March are: Adults £70, Students £35
- Our Summer fees for April to August are: £3.50 per evening for Adults, £2.00 for Students
